Building for Habitat for Humanity

• Builds run Wednesday through Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Volunteers usually come for the entire day.
• Our houses are built almost completely by volunteers. We have volunteers of all ages and all walks of life. No experience is necessary. Some volunteers come only for one day, others have been with us for years and come several times a week. Some come alone, some come in groups. At the moment we can only accommodate 5 or 6 volunteers at a build at a time so we are not always able to accommodate large groups.

• You register and answer all the prompts
• You look at the schedule and sign up for a shift that is appropriate for you
• If the scheudle does not have a shift or has a reserved shift you will have to wait and check back for an open shift. (please be patient, saturdays are our most popular days and we rarely have open shifts on these days) 
• Shifts sign ups are first come, first serve. 
• Please dress appropriately for your build shift and show up on time. 
• Please do not bring your own work tools or supplies.
