Team Build Days

What is a Team Build?

Team builds are designed to strenghthen the bond of your employees while doing good for your community. Your employees come to a build site and work side-by-side building a home for Syracuse Habitat for Humanity.

 

What are the benefits to our organization?

A chance to work on a community service project as a team, strengthened relationships between co-workers, learned construction skills, a tax write off, publicity and media basedon sponsorship level.

 

What is the suggested donation to participate?

There is a suggested donation of $50 per day, per person, for us to be able to train your team to build, to buy building materials for your build day, and arrange your team build to be rewarding and specialized for your organization.

 

Who has participated in team builds locally?

Businesses such as National Grid, Anheuser-Busch, Carrier Corporation, Lockheed Martin, Target, and Kelloggs have all had wonderful build experiences with Syracuse Habitat for Humanity.

Sponsor a House

Help create safe, affordable, and adequate housing through a house sponsorship. Your contribution helps cover construction materials, supervision, and other building expenses. As a sponsor, you also receive many exposure and recognition opportunities for your contribution. See the sponsorship levels below.

Hold an Event

Hold a special event to raise funds and awareness. This can be a simple as a small birthday fundraiser or bigger like your faith or student group's charity event of the year. The options are endless. If you wish to host an event to support Syracuse Habitat, simply let us know, so we can attend your event or even help publicize it.

Syracuse Habitat for Humanity hosts many special events throughout the year. Be on the lookout for future events for sponsorship opportunities.

Sponsorship Levels

As a sponsor, you receive many exposure and recognition opportunities for your contribution. 

Recognition for all Sponsors of $5,000 or more

  • Logo on Build Sign

  • Participation in Ground Blessing & Home Dedication

  • Donor logo and link on SHFH website

  • Acknowledgement in SHFH Harbinger newsletter (5,000+ distribution)

  • Recognition via various social media channels

  • Permission to publicize sponsorship with use of SHFH logo and link to SHFH website

  • Digital group photograph of your volunteers on site

Blueprint Sponsor: $5,000 and up

  • Option to schedule 3 on-site build days

Foundation Builder: $20,000 and up

  • Option to schedule 10 on-site build days

  • Sponsor Recognition at Ground Blessing & Home Dedication

Raise the Roof Sponsor: $50,000 and up

  • Option to schedule 15 on-site build days

  • Option for Sponsor Presentation & Recognition at Ground Blessing & Home Dedication

  • Inclusion in all SHFH-prepared press releases related to the build

Full House Sponsor: $125,000 and up

  • Option to schedule 30 on-site build days

  • Option for sole Sponsor Presentation at Ground Blessing & Home Dedication Inclusion in all SHFH-prepared press releases related to the build

  • Feature articles in the Harbinger newsletter (5,000+ distribution)

  • SHFH/Sponsor co-branded t-shirts for each company volunteer
