Interfaith Build
Syracuse Habitat for Humanity's Interfaith build has begun! Come check out the progress on 655 Gifford street in the coming months... BUT we need you! This build gives a chance for Central New York/ Onondaga County to come together and show their sense of community on Syracuse Habitat for Humanity's Build site! All faiths welcome to participate. Announcing.....Mr. Habitat 2011..........Deraux Branch!
On November 4th, 2011 the 5th annual Mr. Habitat was hosted at the Shearton Syracuse University Hotel and Conference center. Many contestants participated...all trying to raise the most money for Syracuse Habitat for Humanity's Women Build home! With 17 men competing and hundreds of items donated from the business community this year we had our biggest success ever with raising a net of $16,000!!
Raising a total of $2,965 before and during the event this year's Mr. Habitat is Deraux Branch!!
Thank you to all those brave men who strutted the runway and raised a significant amount of money for SHFH!
